ROSEMONT, Ill. – In the inaugural season of Big Ten lacrosse, the No. 1 Maryland women's lacrosse team is slated to appear in four nationally televised games. The Terps will be featured on the Big Ten Network and ESPNU, and will have eight home games streamed on BTN Plus.

The Terrapins will appear on the Big Ten Network three times. Maryland opens play on BTN against Penn on March 18. The Terps' first-ever Big Ten Conference game at Northwestern on March 26 will be featured on BTN at 7 p.m. The Terrapins' regular-season finale against Penn State will be broadcast on the network at 7 p.m. on April 23.

Maryland's meeting with Johns Hopkins on April 15 will appear on ESPNU. Opening draw is set for 8:30 p.m.

The remaining eight Maryland home games will be broadcast on BTN Plus, the official app of the Big Ten Network. The games feature the top talent in women's lacrosse, including No. 2 North Carolina (2/21), No. 3 Syracuse (3/7) and No. 4 Florida (3/14).

The semifinals of the Big Ten Women's Lacrosse Tournament will be televised on BTN. The final will be streamed on ESPN3. The tournament will be hosted by Rutgers from April 30 to May 2. 

BTN will provide unprecedented coverage of the inaugural season on Big Ten women's lacrosse. Leading BTN's coverage is a group of analysts that includes Mark Dixon, who played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins, has covered NCAA Men's lacrosse for 18 seasons; Greg Bice, a former lacrosse standout at Ohio State and first overall selection in the 2006 MLL draft; and Courtney Connor, who played at Maryland, coached at Mount St. Mary's and has also served as a TV analyst. Joining them in the booth will be play-by-play announcers Joe Beninati, Mike Wolf and Pete Medhurst.

The Terps begin their BTN schedule this weekend when Maryland hosts No. 2 North Carolina Saturday at noon on BTN Plus.
