Maryland-Michigan State Game Set for Feb. 5

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The fifth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (17-2, 6-1 B1G) will host No. 18 Michigan State (14-4, 5-2) on Friday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at the XFINITY Center. The two teams were originally scheduled to play on Jan. 23, but both schools and the Big Ten conference postponed the game due to the winter storm in the Maryland area.

Tickets for the Jan. 23 game will be honored on Feb. 5. Fans that are unable to attend the rescheduled game may exchange their Michigan State tickets for any of the remaining regular season home games. The exchange should take place in advance of the desired game at the box office, or by mailing in the original tickets. Weather permitting, office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. For more information on exchanging tickets, please call the Maryland Ticket Office at 1-800-IM-A-TERP.

The Terrapins will be giving away the Chloe Pavlech bobblehead at the Michigan State game. For the giveaways, fans will receive a scratch-off ticket when they enter XFINITY Center and 500 lucky fans will win a bobblehead. Non-winning tickets will include a merchandise discount at the Terrapin Team Shop. Fans with winning scratch off tickets can redeem their ticket for a bobble head in the XFINITY Center Pavilion, located on the ground floor, following the conclusion of the game.

The Terps are leading the country in rebounding margin (+17.7). They are second in the nation in scoring margin (+29.5), field goal percentage (.498) and three-point field goal percentage (.412). Maryland became the 14th Division I program to reach the 900-win mark last Wednesday night at Wisconsin. The Terps have an all-time record of 900-409 (.688) since the program started in the 1971-72 season.

The Terrapins will travel to Penn State (8-11, 3-5) for a midweek matchup Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The Terps-Lady Lions game will be streamed online through BTN Plus and the BTN2Go app. Fans will need a BTN Plus subscription to watch.

After Wednesday's matchup, the Terrapins will return home to host Indiana (12-8, 4-4) Saturday at 2 p.m. at the XFINITY Center.

The Brene Moseley bobblehead will be available to 500 luck fans at Saturday's game and the Malina Howard bobblehead will be released on Feb. 28 vs. Minnesota.
