PINEHURST, N.C. - The Maryland women's golf team continues its fall campaign with a trip to the 2016 Pinehurst Challenge Monday and Tuesday.
The Terps will take on the original course – which welcomed play for the first time in 1898 - a short track, covering just 5,949 yards last year for a par of 72.
Maryland moved up six spots from a year ago to 13th place at the Cougar Classic its last time out. Freshman Xiaolin Tian led the Terps with a two-under par for the three-day tourney (73-68-73/214).
The Terps lineup includes Tian, Ludovica Farina, Ludovica Scandroglio, Lauren Salazar and Panitta Yusabai.
