COLUMBUS, Ohio - After multiple delays due to inclement weather, senior Tom Harris led the Maryland men's golf team to a solid start in the first round of the Robert Kepler Invitational Saturday at Ohio State's Scarlet Course.
As a team, the Terrapins are in seventh out of 16 teams competing with their score of 300 (+16).
Harris went one-over par with a 72 in Saturday's first round. He is in fourth in the standings. Sophomore David Kocher went two-over with a 74 to sit tied for 23rd.
Freshman Timothy Colanta shot a 75 (+4) and is tied for 32nd. Sophomore Joe Brooks earned a 79 (+8). Freshman Reilly Erhardt shot an 81 (+10).
The teams will play the second and final round of 18 holes Sunday. They will tee off at 10:30 a.m. Live scoring will be available here, weather permitting.
