A native of Upper Marlboro, Md., Trimble has scored 20 or more points in eight games this season. The last two players to be named to the list three seasons are Tyler Hansbrough and Doug McDermott.

It was Maryland's largest conference-opening win since an 89-60 victory over Clemson on Jan. 5, 1974. The Terps - who lead the all-time series 7-5 - were without big men Michal Cekovsky and Damonte Dodd for the game.
