2017 Volleyball Camp Registration Now Open

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland volleyball team coaching staff's summer camp series returns for its fourth year. This summer, the Terps added three sessions as Maryland will host nine camps tailored to the needs and skill levels of each player.

The camp season will begin June 26-29 with the Middle School Day Camp. The series is designed to introduce players to the sport and teach basic skills. Campers can choose between each individual date or the entire series.

The Volleyball Academy returns for the second straight year. For girls entering 9th-12 grades, the Academy is an elite three-day training series. Each Academy session is limited to just 60 participants and will include session with the University of Maryland strength and performance coaches, nutritionist and head coach Steve Aird. The Volleyball Academy will train July 7-9 and July 21-23.

The Terps will host a High School Team Camp from July 7-9. The team camp is designed to prepare high school varsity or JV teams for the upcoming fall season. 

The Coaches Clinic will take place on July 8. Coaches will learn from the Maryland volleyball coaching staff on how to improve aiding young players.

Maryland will host two Individual Skills Camps for girls entering 7th-12th grades. The camp will assist players in developing the full potential of their individual skills. The first skills camp will take plae July 14-16 and the second from July 24-25.

The Terps will host Youth Day Camps from July 17-18. The camp is designed to introduce players to the sport of volleyball and is available for grades 4-8. Campers can sign up for either or both dates.

The Elite Positions Camps will take place July 17-18. Campers will break into hitters, setter and liberos and the camp will cater to specific skills. Elite players will learn to break down film and use the latest technology to improve.
