BY THE NUMBERS

- Maryland head coach John Tillman needs one more win to reach 100 victories for his career at Maryland. Tillman would be the fastest coach in Maryland history to reach the mark, and it would move him past Dave Cottle for third in program history. Tillman's overall .713 winning percentage ranks second among active Division I coaches behind Bill Tierney.

- The Terrapins have trailed for just 3:13 of a possible 120 minutes through three games this season. Maryland is outscoring opponents 14-6 in the first quarter and 24-12 in the first half. The Terps have scored first in only one game (Navy), however.

- Senior midfielder Connor Kelly is one of six Maryland players since 2000 to record eight points in a game, achieving the feat against Marist (4g/4a) and earning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts. Through three games, Kelly has totaled 17 points on nine goals and eight assists. He had just 11 assists in 19 games last season.

- Senior Tim Rotanz has proven to be one of the most accurate shooters so far in 2018, scoring six goals on 11 shots (55%). Rotanz has had a penchant for scoring when it matters most, including a game-high three goals in the 2017 NCAA finals. His goal Saturday against High Point played a major role in sealing the victory for the Terps.

- Wednesday's game against Penn marks the start of an incredibly tough stretch for the Terps to close out the regular season, which includes matchups against nine ranked opponents (out of 10). Following the game against Penn, Maryland will have three consecutive games against top-10 opponents: #7 Notre Dame, #2 Albany and #8 Villanova.

- The Terrapins are currently riding a 10-game winning streak dating back to April 22, 2017 - the longest streak in the country. The program's longest win streak in history was an improbable 31 games spanning four seasons from 1954 to 1957.

- The Terrapins are 12-0 all-time against Penn in a series that dates back to the first game of Maryland's history as a varsity program in 1924. Then-freshman faceoff specialist Austin Henningsen was great against Penn in 2016, winning 15-of-20 faceoffs and scooping seven ground balls.

- Senior Connor Kelly (4g,4a) and sophomore Jared Bernhardt (5g,2a) were sensational against Marist, combining for 15 points in the victory. It was the most points for a Maryland duo in the same game since 1991, when Mark Douglas and Rob Wurzburger combined for 15 points against Ohio State.

- Maryland's man-up unit is currently converting at a 73-percent clip (8-of-11) after a 5-for-8 day against High Point last Saturday. Senior Connor Kelly has had a hand in five of the eight man-up goals, and is currently tied for the nation's lead in man-up goals (3).
