They played AAU together for Sports City U. Hillmon played with Diamond Miller in the FIBA U19 World Championships this past summer. They helped Team USA to a gold medal.

The Terrapins lead the country with their turnover margin of +11.1. They are second in the nation in steals (14.5), 3-point field goal percentage (.422) and scoring margin (+36.2). Blair Watson and Taylor Mikesell are Nos. 1 and 3 in the Big Ten in 3-point field goal percentage, and both are in the top 15 in the country.

Kaila Charles recently moved to No. 10 on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,662 career points. She is 17 points from tying Christy Winters Scott (1987-90) at No. 9 with 1,679 points. Blair Watson has made 167 career threes. She is tied with Marche Strickland (1999-02) for sixth on Maryland's all-time list.

After Saturday's matchup, the Terrapins will travel to Evanston, Ill. to take on Northwestern (10-1), which is receiving votes on both the Associated Press and USA Today Sports Coaches polls.
