Maryland (27-4) has advanced to the Big Ten Championship game in all six years it has been in the league. This is the third time the Terrapins and Buckeyes (21-11) have met in the final game, with Maryland winning in 2015 and Ohio State in 2018.

Ashley Owusu added 14 to help top-seeded Maryland beat fourth-seeded Indiana, 66-51, on Saturday night in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.
Kaila Charles finished with 11 points and eight rebounds for the Terrapins.

The Terrapins are 10-6 all-time vs. the Buckeyes and have won the last four straight meetings. Maryland took both meetings this year - 72-62 in College Park on Jan. 6 and 85-65 in Columbus on Jan. 30.
