COLLEGE PARK, Md. -Â The fourth ranked Maryland men's lacrosse team (1-0). returns to action this Friday, February 26 at No. 13 Penn State (0-1).
The game at Panzer Stadium will face off at 5:30 p.m. and will air live on the Big Ten Network.
Maryland is coming off a 20-9 victory over Michigan in the team's season opener on February 20. The 20 goals were the most Maryland has scored in a Big Ten Conference game since joining the league in 2014 and the most in any conference game since crushing Duke, 25-7 in 1983.

Jared Bernhardt is five points away from becoming just the sixth player in program history to join the illustrious 200 points club. Jared would join Matt Rambo (257), Bob Boneillo (231), Joe Walters (227), Ray Altman (214) and Frank Urso (208) on Maryland's 200-point scorer's list. Bernhardt has scored 133 career goals (5th all-time) and recorded 62 career assists as a Terp. Â Â Â Â
MALTZ IS MONEY

Daniel Maltz totaled a game-high five goals in Maryland's season-opener, tying his career-high set last season against Penn (2/15/20). Maltz has been the go-to finisher for Maryland's EMO unit, scoring a team-best six man-up goals over the past seven games.
SERIES HISTORY
10 is the magic number under tillman
- Maryland has won 26Â consecutive games when allowing an opponent under 10 goals dating back to the 2017 National Championship season. Maryland's last win in the streak came when the Terps sealed a 14-9 win over #5 Notre Dame on February 29. Maryland has been a tough out under head coach John Tillman when allowing under 10 goals, posting a 99-11 record under Tillman since 2011.Â

Senior defenseman Nick Grill was named the B1G Defensive Player of the Week and a USILA Team of the Week selection after turning in perhaps his finest game as a Terp. In Maryland's win over Michigan, Grill caused a career-high three turnovers while scooping four ground balls. Grill helped hold Michigan's Alex Buckanavage, the Wolverines leading scorer from 2019, without a point.Â
