COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland Athletics unveiled a new refreshed look to umterps.com, the official website of Terrapin Athletics in a continued partnership with SIDEARM Sports on Monday.
The new umterps.com offers a slick and streamlined design and is fully-responsive maximizing the viewing experience on a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. In general, the site has similar navigation to the recent version for users to find their favorite pages with ease.
Most notably, the new umterps.com features Terrapin Club+ prominently. Terrapin Club+ is an online streaming platform that features exclusive video content and programming for Terrapin Club members. The five most recent episodes of these original shows spotlighting amazing and inspiring stories of our student-athletes, staff and alumni are showcased on the home page. On Monday, three new shows debuted: The Johnny Holliday Show with Dr. Lonise Bias, Len Bias' mother; Behind The Play with Steve Blake looking back at his iconic steal against Duke in 2002 and Anyone Can as men's basketball player Aaron Wiggins tries his 'foot' at women's soccer with Terps Alyssa Poarch and Nicole Kwoczka. Viewers will need to login via their Terrapin Club account or join to gain access to these shows.
The site's cleaner look allows for quicker load time and a more efficient layout of news and feature stories. The Quick Links area will focus on important news from the University of Maryland campus as well key initiatives from the athletic department as well as a handy all-sports athletic calendar during these busy times with the Terps.
As always, Maryland's schedules, rosters, news, statistics and social media links as well as the Terrapin Fan Shop, auctions and additional fan info will be available in their familiar locations.
