COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Each week during the 2021-22 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week.

This week's Solomon Eye Terp of the Week is sophomore Sydney Dowler of Terps Volleyball.

Dowler, a sophomore setter, orchestrated the Terps offense to the tune of 104 assists across the team's undefeated weekend. An all-around player, she also chipped in 15 digs, nine blocks, seven kills, and three aces. Her best performance came on Saturday against UMBC with 34 assists, six blocks, and six digs. 

She currently leads the team with 334 assists this season and also passed 500 career assists thus past weekend.

The Cary, North Carolina, native has led Maryland in assists every match of its undefeated 9-0 start.
