FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY - The Maryland women's tennis team opens its fall competition schedule this weekend for the fifth annual Columbia Invitational. Hosted by Columbia, all matches will take place at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y., home of the U.S. Open. 
 
Competition begins on Friday at 9 a.m. with singles matches.
