COLLEGE PARK, MD. -Â The University of Maryland women's soccer team will close out the regular season on the road in Indiana. The Terps will take on the Hoosiers at 7 pm on Thursday night, followed by a matchup against Purdue on Sunday at 2 pm. Both games will be streamed on B1G+.

- Maryland has a 1-3-4 all-time record with Indiana. The two teams met in College Park last season and battled to a 0-0 tie.Â
- The Terps have a 2-4 overall record with the Boilermakers. They last met in the 2020-21 season in West Lafayette as Purdue won 3-2 in double overtime.Â
Looking back to last week
- Maryland fell on Sunday in a hard-fought battle against Minnesota, 2-1. Alyssa Poarch scored the lone goal for the Terps in the 27th minute, her third of the season.
- The Terps dropped their Thursday night contest to #20 Ohio State, 7-0.
B1g time roadtrip
- This weekend marks the first time this B1G season in which the Terps are on the road for consecutive conference games in the same week.
- Maryland is looking for their first win over Indiana since 1994. The Terps' win over the Hoosiers in 1994 marks their only win over Indiana in program history.  Â
- The Terps will head into their Sunday matchup battling for their first win over the Boilermakers since 2019.Â
New Terps making an impact early Â
- Amanda Schafer, Tahirah Turnage and Sydney Urban have all played a significant role on the team's defensive line.Â
- Alina Stahl and Juliana Lynch continue to lead the Maryland offense this season. Stahl leads the team in goals on the season with four, while Lynch leads the team in assists with three.   Â
- Seven of the 12 goals scored so far this season have been scored by Maryland newcomers.Â
a new era
- Coach Meghan Ryan Nemzer continues her first season at the helm of the Maryland women's soccer program. Coach Nemzer comes to Maryland after spending the previous 14 seasons on the coaching staff at Rutgers.Â
- Katie Ely and Alex Ng will also be joining the Maryland staff this season. Ely has spent the previous seven seasons on the women's soccer staff at the University of Georgia, while Ng comes to Maryland after spending the past two seasons on the University of Richmond women's soccer staff.
- Coach Nemzer has also added Kenie Wright to the staff along with Justine Stoner. Wright will serve as the Director of Player Development, the first in the program's history, while Stoner will fill the director of operations position.
- Finally, Joe Nemzer rounds out the staff as the program's volunteer assistant coach. Joe brings more than a decade of soccer expertise with experience in both the professional and college ranks.
- Coach Nemzer and her staff welcome 19 new Terps to College Park this season, including 9 freshmen and 10 transfers.
- The New Staff recorded their first win at Maryland on Sunday, September 4th, with a commanding 3-0 win over George Mason.
