Terps Set for 2022 Big Ten Championships

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland wrestling team heads to the Cornhusker state this weekend as it prepares for the 2022 Big Ten Championships.
The Terps are led by 2022 Southern Scuffle Champion Kyle Cochran who enter the tournament as the eight-seed. Cochran has a career-high 21 wins this season to lead the group of primary starters.
Maryland is seeking its first NCAA Qualifier since Youssif Hemida in 2018. Hemida finished that tournament as an All-American in eighth place.
Action will be feature on Big Ten Network throughout the weekend, but B1G+ will feature coverage of all four mats. Fans can also follow the action by following the program's official Twitter account @TerpsWrestling.
