COLLEGE PARK, MD -  Each week during the 2021-22 season, a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. 

This week's Solomon Eye Terp of the Week is sophomore Patricie Mackova (Prague, Czech Republic) from women's golf. This marks her second Terp of the Week recognition. 

Finish sixth out of 101 competitors in the field at the 6th annual Clemson Invitational on Lake Keowee. Mackova is currently ranked 98th in the country on NCAA Div. I Women's Players list according to Golfstat (as Mar. 28, 2022). She posted 75-73-73 (+5) on a very tough and windy Jack Nicklaus layout (The Reservee at Lake Keowee), beating 14 higher-ranked players in the field. She led the field in scoring average on par three's with an average of 2.83 strokes, going (-2) over the course of the week. Mackova helped Maryland defeat three other ranked teams (#37 Vanderbilt, Big Ten foe #42 Purdue, and #23 Virginia Tech) to finish 11th in the field as a team.

-Posted a career and program low 65 (-7) earlier this season at Medinah Country Club
