Terps Drop Road Finale At Iowa

Box Score IOWA CITY, IA -- In its final road match of the season, Maryland was defeated by Iowa by a score of 5-0.

The Hawkeyes scored three goals in the first half and added two more in the second.

Liz Beardsley made five saves. Catherine DeRosa registered a shot on goal.

Coach Nemzer's Take
"Obviously today wasn't our day and I give credit to Iowa for coming out and competing as soon as the whistle blew. It took us a while to get our rhythm and by the time we found our rhythm it was too late. Things didn't go our way, we didn't compete today. We got a red card so that dug a hole for us from the start. I'm excited to see how we respond, we got a big one on Thursday night."
