UNIVERSITY PARK, PA --Â Braxton Brown picked up his 20th win of the season, but Maryland could not come out on top in another bout, losing 44-3 to No. 1 Penn State on Sunday afternoon.
The Terps were without two ranked wrestlers in Jaxon Smith and Jaron Smith.Â
Maryland is now 9-8 overall and 1-7 in Big Ten competition, coming on the heels of its historic win over Purdue on Friday. The Nittany Lions are a perfect 14-0, 7-0.Â
