COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The seventh-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (23-5, 14-3 B1G) will play at No. 16 Ohio State (23-5. 12-5) Friday at 6 p.m. ET in Columbus in both teams' regular season finale. The Terps-Buckeyes game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

What's UP
- Maryland used a 29-4 second quarter run to hand No. 6 Iowa a 96-68 loss Tuesday in College Park. Brinae Alexander went 6-9 from outside the arc for 24 points. Lavender Briggs added a season-high 17 points. Shyanne Sellers scored 17 points with 10 boards and Diamond Miller added 16 points. The Terps' 96 points was the most surrendered by the Hawkeyes this year and Iowa's 68 points were its fewest.
- Brenda Frese and the Terps are 31-3 in the month of February over the last 5 seasons. Frese and the Terrapins are 35-1 at home at the XFINITY Center in the month of February since 2014.
- Diamond Miller is one of 25 top players in the country named to the Wooden Award Midseason Watch List. She was also named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Midseason Final 10 list, as well as the Wade Watch and Naismith Midseason lists.
- Shyanne Sellers was named to the Cheryl Miller Award Final 10 list for the nation's top small forward.

- Senior Diamond Miller was named to the 10-player Preseason All-Big Ten Team for the second straight season to start the year. She is a two-time All-Big Ten honoree and was the 2021 Big Ten Tournament Co-MOP.
- Maryland was picked to finish fourth in the Big Ten by both the league's head coaches and media panel. Both groups picked Iowa to win the conference. The coaches selected Ohio State to finish second, Indiana to finish third with Michigan rounding out the top five. The media panel picked Indiana to finish second, Ohio State third and Michigan fifth.
- Two-time National Coach of the Year Brenda Frese brought in nine new players this season, including AP Honorable Mention All-American honoree Abby Meyers (Princeton), All-SEC transfer Lavender Briggs (Florida), All-AAC transfer Elisa Pinzan (USF), SEC graduate transfer Brinae Alexander (Vanderbilt) and All-CAA transfer Allie Kubek (Towson).
- All five transfers averaged over 9.0 points per game last year - Meyers (17.9), Alexander (15.2), Briggs (12.5), Kubek (12.2) and Pinzan (9.3).
