Orlando, FL – The Maryland track and field squads competed on day two of the Black and Gold Invitational hosted by UCF in Orlando, Florida. 

On day two, a number of Terps set personal bests and earned podium finishes.

Women's Notes:

• Anna Coffin (2:13.34) set a new personal best in the 800m. Mackenzie Morgan (2:15.35) Katie Turk (2:15.93, PR) Kami Joi Hickson and Amanda Eliker also competed. 

• Kamryn Henderson (52.28m) earned a top ten result in the hammer throw. Sarah George also competed. 

• Kattiana Ealy-Pulido (14.34), Alyssa Miller (14.42) and Ariana Ealy-Pulido (14.57) competed in the 100m hurdles.

• Alyssa Miller and Michaela Bracken cleared 1.63m in the high jump. 

• Kyra Lyles crossed the line in 56.53 in the 400m dash. Lydia Robling raced to a 57.15 finish.

• Madison Depry (12.19) and Kayla Woods (12.22) competed in the 100m dash.

• Alyssa Miller, Kayla Woods, Kattiana Ealy-Pulido and Madison Depry sprinted to a 46.31 finish in the 4x100. 

• Maya Mosley, Kayla Woods, Kyra Lyles, and Michaela Bracken (3:46.36) closed out the meet in the 4x400.

Men's Notes:

• Kamari Trotz, Joe Ewan, Brandon James and Ako Hislop took third in the 4x100, finishing in 40.74.

• Chase McGeehan (1:50.91) set a personal best in the 800m and took sixth place. Solomon Lawrence (1:53.26), Max Myers (1:54.67), and Eric Albright also competed. 

• Drake Murphy (14.55) took sixth in the 110m hurdles.

• Gerald Norgbe took fifth in the triple jump with a 14.55m mark.

• Brandon James (10.69) Kamari Trotz (10.84) Kevin Collins (10.87) and Joe Ewan (10.90) competed in the 100m dash.

• Brandon Turpin, Max Myers, Chase McGeehan, and Solomon Lawrence (3:14.89) competed in the 4x400.

"This was a good season opener for the group as we make the transition to the outdoor season and get ready for even more competition in the coming months."
