The Maryland track and field team concluded their three-meet split weekend on Saturday, with
Eric Albright,
Tolu Akinduro, and
Kevin Collins highlighting the second day of competition.

In the 800m in Boston, Albright set a school-record becoming the first Terp ever to run sub 1:50 indoor, crossing the finish line with a time of 1:49.82. He broke a record previously set by Daniel Trettel in 2016 and improved on his previous best time of 1:50.78, which he set a year ago this weekend and was third all-time in school history.

Akinduro moved up to number four all-time in school history with her 12.49m triple jump at Clemson, marking the longest women's triple jump for a Terp in a decade, and just the fourth female Terp ever to break 12.40m.

Collins etched his name in the record books again this weekend, running a blistering 21.74 in the men's 200m at Clemson, moving him into the number six spot in school history in the event. This the third time and third different event that Collins has written his name in the record books for.
