Women's Hoops Practice Information

The Maryland women's basketball team invites fans, family members and Rebounders to come support the team at practice during the season. Fans and friends planning to attend are asked to read and follow the guidelines and instructions below.

Practice schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, Oct. 7: 12:30-2:30 p.m. (BPC)
- Thursday, Oct. 9: 1-3 p.m. (BPC)
- Friday, Oct. 10: 6:30-8:30 a.m. (BPC)

Media members planning to attend practice are asked to please contact Rose DiPaula (rdipaula@umd.edu) for information.
Fans planning to park on campus between the hours of 7 am - 4 pm Monday-Friday must park in the XFINITY Visitors Lot, which is a metered lot. Parking is open in lots UU, 9B and 4B after 4 p.m. and on Saturday and Sundays (excluding football and men's basketball game days). Click HERE for visitor parking maps and information.
Please be sure to silence your cell phone and refrain from loud conversations, including on the phone and with other fans attending practices.
Recording, videoing, taking photos of drills, as well as sharing details of practice activity is prohibited without consent from Communications Director, Rose DiPaula.
Please remember that the team and coaches have work to do and limited time to do it in - so practice is not the time to socialize with players or coaches.
We owe it to our team members and the student-athletes rehabbing in the gym to give them space and privacy. Due to HIPAA laws, it is our duty to maintain confidentiality and privacy. To this end, we ask that you not interact with student-athletes or staff during treatment and training.

Practice at XFINITY Center

Fans attending practice can enter through Gate C.
Fans are asked to sit in the stands in section 101 or 102.
The baseline, sideline (including scorer's table) and tunnel areas must be kept clear of visitors before and during practice and shoot around.

Practice at the Barry P. Gossett Basketball Performance Center

Space for fan seating at the BPC is limited. We encourage large groups to visit practice in the XFINITY Center.
Once you arrive at the entrance, please meet a staff member or manager to escort you to the court.
Fans are permitted to use the first floor public restrooms and to view women's basketball practice on the practice court.
