Three Terps Collect Big Ten All-Tournament Team Honors

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Three members of the No. 3 Maryland women's lacrosse team earned All-Big Ten Tournament honors, the conference announced Sunday. The honorees are Kori Edmondson, JJ Suriano and Maddy Sterling.

Edmondson earned All-Big Ten Tournament honors after totaling 10 points across three games. She also contributed one ground ball, one caused turnover and 10 draw controls, making an impact all over the field.

Sterling anchored the Maryland defense throughout the Big Ten Tournament, recording three ground balls and two caused turnovers while matching up against some of the conference's top offensive players. In the Big Ten Championship against Northwestern, Sterling held Big Ten leading scorer Madison Taylor to just one goal, her fewest in a game this season.

Suriano continued her standout season in goal, recording nine or more saves in all three tournament games. She also added three ground balls and helped hold Northwestern to its second fewest goals of the season.
