Michelle Smith Ware is entering her second year on the ASCDU staff as a Learning Specialist. Prior to coming to the University of Maryland, Michelle worked as an Academic Advisor/CHAMPS Life Skills coordinator at Dartmouth College from 2004-2006. While completing her Master's degree at Springfield College, Michelle was an Athletic Counselor for Football and Men's Basketball. In addition, she was an Athletic Counselor for the Gary Dineen Hockey School and for Men's Basketball at Springfield Technical Community College.
Michelle earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2002. She received her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Athletic Counseling from Springfield College in 2004. Michelle currently lives in Virginia with her husband KiJuan and their dog BisKuit.
