Maryland Hosts YES CLinic At NCAA Lacrosse Championships

COLLEGE PARK, Md - The NCAA and the University of Maryland will be hosting the 2000 Youth Education Through Sports (YES) Lacrosse Clinic on Sunday, May 28, 2000 as part of the 2000 Lacrosse Championship Weekend at Maryland. The YES clinic will be held on Sunday, May 28, from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The free clinic provides students ages 10-18 with the opportunity to receive expect lacrosse instruction from top collegiate coaches and student-athletes in a child-centered environment.

This clinic is held in conjunction with the NCAA Division I, II and III lacrosse championships. The Division I semifinals will be played on Saturday, May 27 at Byrd Stadium, with the first game getting underway at noon. On Sunday, May 28, the Division III championship game will be played at Byrd Stadium and will be followed by the Division II title game at Ludwig Field. The Division I championship will be played on Monday, May 29 at Byrd Stadium with face-off coming at 10:55 a.m.

A reserved seat package for all four games at Byrd Stadium is available for $35 and tickets for the Division II game at Ludwig Field are available for $10 apiece. Please call 301-314-7070 or 800-462-TERP for ticket information or to place your order.
