COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Senior defenseman Casey Connor (Baltimore, Md.) named a first team All-American by AllLacrosseAmerica.com on Saturday.

Connor, who was a second team All-America by the USILA in 1999 started all 16 games for the NCAA Quarterfinalist Terps this past season.

Connor recorded 54 groundballs, second most among Maryland field players and scored one goal against UMBC in the regular-season finale.

Junior midfielder Chris Malone (Timonium, Md.) was named an honorable mention All-American by AllLacrosseAmerica.com also.

Malone was second on the team in scoring with 39 points and led the team with 28 goals.

The USILA All-America team will be announced this weekend.
