PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Wednesday night, senior Emily Marker (Ann Arbor, Mich.) recorded her second win at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Playing her second match of the day at the Riviera Tennis Club, Marker faced off against ACC conference foe, Mihaela Modevan. Florida State's Modevan was tripped up by Marker in a three set thriller.

The first went to Modevan as the Romanian hit her way past Marker, 5-7. Marker stepped up her game and claimed the second and third sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Marker heads for the backdraw quarterfinals with a 2-1 record at the All-American. She will face Georgia's Natalie Frazier.
