Maryland wins the first-ever meeting between the two schools, 67-63 and will take on Marshall, a 71-43 winner over Elon, at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Maryland extends its current win streak to seven games, its longest since a seven-game streak in 1997-98 ... The Terps are now 9-1 on the season, its best start since 1996-97.

Freshman forward Crystal Langhorne knocked down 10-of-13 shots in scoring a career-high 26 points, and pulled down 10 rebounds for her team-leading fourth double-double of the season.

Langhorne's 26 points were one shy of a Comcast Center record, set by Renneika Razor on Dec. 11, 2002 (vs. Virginia Tech).

Freshman Ashleigh Newman attempted a career-high 12 field goals and finished with nine points.

Kalika France tied a season-high with seven rebounds, including five on the offensive glass.

Maryland had a positive turnover margin (UMass 21, Maryland 15) for the fourth straight game and forced 20 or more turnovers for the eighth time this season.

Maryland scored fewer than 70 points tonight for the first time in seven games and the second time all season.

The Terps tied a season-high with 22 offensive rebounds and had more offensive boards (22) than defensive boards (18) for the first time all year.

Maryland, third in the ACC in assist-to-turnover ratio, had more assists (16) than turnovers (15) for the fourth time in five games.

Shay Doron played a season-high tying 37 minutes and handed out four assists, the eighth time in 10 games that she has had at least four helpers.

Maryland shot its lowest percentage (11.8%) of the season from three-point range, but connected on nearly 50% of its shots (22-45, .489) from inside the arc to finish the game shooting 38.7%.
