NEW YORK, N.Y. - The University of Maryland track and field teams finished competition at the New York Armory Collegiate Invitational Saturday. Both the men's and women's teams finished in the top 10 and Harold Manning earned an individual victory for the Terrapin men.

Manning's winning time in the 200-meter dash was 21.64, as he helped his team finish 10th out of 33 teams in the final team rankings. The Terps were competing in the University division of the Collegiate Invitational, and finished with 26.50 points. St. Augustine's took home first-place honors with 74.50 points.

Also leading the Terrapin men was Robert Frelow, who ran the 400-meter dash in 47.76 - good for second place.

On the women's side, the Terrapins finished ninth out of 15 teams in the Championship division of the meet with 25 points. The winner, LSU, finished with 138.50 points.

Teyarnte' Carter highlighted the second day of competition for the women, finishing 7th in the 60-meter dash (7.57).

The Terrapins are back in action next weekend, when they travel to Clemson University for the ACC Championships.
