COLLEGE PARK, MD. -
Maryland baseball's Wednesday home opener against Towson has been postponed due to recent inclement weather. The game will be rescheduled, but no make-up date has been announced.
The Shipley Field opener is the second straight Maryland game affected by recent storms, as last weekend's finale against the No. 20/30 College of Charleston was rained out. The team split its other two games of the weekend, falling to Le Moyne, 5-3, on Friday and beating Towson, 7-1, on Saturday.
