CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The University of Maryland women's basketball team heads north for the first of two meetings with Boston College when the Terrapins tangle with the Eagles on Monday night in Atlantic Coast Conference action. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be televised on RSN and can be heard live on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.

Maryland (18-4, 6-2 ACC), ranked No. 13 in the Associated Press poll and 11th in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, has won two straight and five of its last six games. The Terps are in third place in the ACC standings with Boston College (17-6, 5-3) just a game behind.

Senior guard Kristi Toliver leads the Terps in scoring, fourth in the ACC, with 17.2 points per game. A pair of newcomers, junior college transfer Demauria Liles and freshman Lynetta Kizer, pace Maryland in rebounding with 9.0 and 7.7 rebounds per game, respectively.

Liles pulls down 10.5 rebounds per game in ACC play, second in the league.

Toliver registered a team-high 15 points in the Terps' 87-66 win over NC State on Thursday. Fellow senior Marissa Coleman moved into third place on the Maryland all-time scoring list with her 14 points against the Wolfpack. She now owns 1,880 career points and, already the second-leading rebounder in school history, is just seven rebounds shy of No. 1,000.

Boston College's Mickel Picco, a junior, is the Eagles' leading scorer with 17.0 points per game. Sophomore Carolyn Swords is the leading rebounder (10.8/game) and shooter (65.8 percent) in the ACC within league play.

The Eagles dropped their last game, Thursday at home versus Florida State, by a 64-53 final. Stefanie Murphy was the lone Eagle to reach double-digits in scoring with 16 points while Swords grabbed 11 rebounds with six points.

Maryland leads the all-time series with Boston College, 7-0. The Terps upended the Eagles three times last season, including a 12-point win in the ACC Quarterfinals, with an average margin of victory of 22 points.
