    Before Maryland: Lettered in lacrosse for four years at Kent Denver School in Englewood, Colo., under Tom Graesse … helped lead Kent to the state title with an undefeated season in 2001 … scored 37 goals and added 20 assists as a senior captain… played in area all-star game … also captured the state lacrosse title as sophomore when he scored 20 goals and added 25 assists … member of Team Colorado lacrosse team from 1998-2001 … also starred at right wing for the hockey team … helped his team to a second place finish as a junior and fourth place as a senior … an all-academic selection for three years.
