BRISTOL, Conn. – The Maryland women's basketball team will play a league contest on ESPN2's Big Monday package this year. The Terps will play at Michigan State on Monday, Feb. 16 in a nationally-televised matchup.
Maryland and some of the other top Division I women's basketball programs in the nation will be showcased in ESPN2's Big Monday presented by Verizon series. The popular weekly Big Monday series on ESPN2, in its ninth season, will begin Jan. 29 and will showcase nine of the nation's best games.
All games will be accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members and on Apple TV to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
Maryland is coming off its second NCAA Final Four appearance under head coach Brenda Frese and fifth overall. The Terrapins went 28-7 on the year last season and return starters in sophomore Lexie Brown and Brionna Jones.
