COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Former Maryland women's basketball guard Katie Rutan has signed with the club Proteas Voulas from Greece for the upcoming season.

Rutan played for the Terrapins for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. She shot 40 percent from behind the arc (127-317) in her two seasons with the Terrapins, helping them to the 2014 Final Four. She was named to the All-ACC Academic Team in 2013 and 2014.

In her senior season, she saw action in all 34 games and averaging 6.6 points per game, 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 43.7 percent from outside the arc.
