COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Juniors Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough of the Big Ten champion Maryland women's basketball team were named to the Wade Trophy Watch List Friday.

The Wade Trophy is presented by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association to the nation's most outstanding NCAA® Division I women's basketball player each year – one who not only excels athletically, but also serves as a positive role model both on and off the court.  The acclaimed Wade Watch list, from which the Wade Trophy recipient is chosen, consists of players selected on the basis of game and season statistics, leadership, character, overall playing ability and the positive impact on her respective team.

The WBCA will officially announce The Wade Trophy winner during the WBCA National Convention, held in conjunction with the NCAA® Women's Final Four in Indianapolis.

Walker-Kimbrough and Jones lead the fifth-ranked Terrapins in scoring a rebounding. Walker-Kimbrough is averaging 19.5 points with 5.8 rebounds per game. She leads the country with her three-point field goal percentage of 54.9 percent.

Jones is averaging 15.7 points with 9.8 boards per game. She leads the nation with her field goal percentage of 67.2 percent.

Both were named to the All-Big Ten First Team by both the coaches and the media. Walker-Kimbrough was also named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team. Walker-Kimbrough was named Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player Sunday, after the Terrapins topped No. 19 Michigan State, 60-44, for their second straight conference title. Jones made the All-Big Ten Tournament Team.

The Terrapins' NCAA Tournament seeding and bracket will be revealed on the Selection Monday show Monday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
