COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland women's basketball team will host its third annual Field Trip Day Nov. 18 vs. Mount St. Mary's. The Terrapins and the Mountaineers will tip off at 11 a.m. at the XFINITY Center.
The back-to-back Big Ten champion Terrapins will offer free admission to all preregistered elementary schools and classes. Teachers who register their classes will receive free lesson plans aligned with Common Core standards, focusing on numeracy and literacy, while familiarizing students with the game of basketball.

The Terrapins earned an overall record of 31-4 last season and won both the Big Ten regular season and tournament titles for the second straight year. Returners Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough earned All-Big Ten First Team honors and WBCA Honorable Mention All-America honors.
