BY THE NUMBERS

2 - Maryland has won its last two meetings against Johns Hopkins, and is looking to win three straight in the series for the first time since a four-game win streak from 1961-64. Other than a two-year break in 1944-45 for World War II, Maryland and Hopkins have met every season since 1923. This marks the 115th meeting dating back to 1895, and 108th with both as official varsity programs. (see pg. 5 for complete history)

3 - With a win Saturday, Maryland can clinch at least a share of its third straight Big Ten regular season championship. It shared the title with JHU in 2015 and won it outright in 2016.

3 - Junior midfielder Tim Rotanz has rounded into form as of late for the Terps, recording a hat trick in three consecutive games and averaging 3.3 pts during that span. He has also totaled at least three points in five of his last six outings.

6 - Senior Matt Rambo (226 pts) needs just six points to become Maryland's all-time leader in points, as he looks to surpass Bob Boneillo's record of 231 points set in 1980. Rambo made his presence known from game one as a freshman, when he posted six points in his collegiate debut against Mount St. Mary's in 2014.

13 - The Terrapin offense is currently averaging 13.2 goals this season, which is on pace to be the most in a season for Maryland in the 21st century (last: 1998). Maryland has scored at least 10 goals in 21 of their last 22 games.

15 - The Terrapins need one more win to clinch their 15th straight 10-win season to further extend an active NCAA-long streak that began in 2003. In terms of history, only Syracuse's 17-year 10-win streak (1988-2004) is longer all-time.

22 - Maryland has made a habit out of jumping to strong starts, outscoring opponents by 22 goals in the first quarter (49 to 27). The Terps are 63-9 under John Tillman when leading after the first quarter.

56 - Senior attackman Matt Rambo has totaled 56 points (30g, 26a) in 12 games, and currently leads the Big Ten in points (4.7/g) and assists (2.2/g). By comparison, Rambo had 33 points (22G, 11a) through 12 games last season, before going on to total 75 points. He needs 6 points to break Maryland's all-time points record and 11 goals for the scoring record.

90 - Head coach John Tillman needs one win to tie the legendary Bud Beardmore (1970-80) for fourth on Maryland's career victories list at Maryland with 90. Tillman is currently 89-29 since taking over the program in 2011, carrying a winning percentage of .754.

190 - Maryland has one of the most seasoned & prolific attack lines in the country, with seniors Matt Rambo (68), Colin Heacock (66) and Dylan Maltz (56) combining for 190 career appearances. The unit's combined 291 goals and 423 points both rank second nationally among attack trios (Duke).
