COLLEGE PARK, Md. --Â No. 9 Maryland will play in the Daytona Beach Invitational this weekend in Daytona Beach, Fla. The Terrapins (5-1) will play two 2019 NCAA Tournament Teams in Clemson (2-4) and Belmont (3-2).

The Terps will matchup with the Tigers Friday at 5:45 p.m. and the Bruins Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Both games will be played at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach and will be streamed on
PassThaBall.com.

In their last time out, the Terrapins dominated Quinnipiac, 107-52, Sunday in College Park. Maryland jumped out to a 24-7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Terps won the third quarter 33-4 to extend the lead.

Diamond Miller scored a career-high 17 and
Shakira Austin had 16, all in the first half. Six Terrapins hit double figures.

Maryland has won four straight games over the last two weeks with an average margin of victory of +33.8. In that stretch, the Terrapins have held their opponents to 57.3 points per game, while scoring 91.0 themselves.

Owusu earned her second straight Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor Monday after averaging 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists with just 4 total turnovers in the Terps' two dominant wins.

Austin was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after putting up 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 2.5 blocks, while shooting 80 percent from the field, in two games.

Stephanie Jones scored nine points Sunday to reach 1,000 in her career. She is the 34th Terp to reach the mark and reached it in her 108th career game. Austin is at 97 career blocks.

Maryland owns the all-time series over Clemson, 42-24. This is their first meeting since Feb. 9, 2014 when the Terps won 95-43 in College Park. This is the Terrapins' first-ever meeting with Belmont.
