ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference announced its pre-seeds ahead of the 2019 Big Ten Championships, which will take place on March 9-10 at the University of Minnesota. 

The pre-seeds, as voted by the conference coaches, rank the top eight wrestlers in three weight classes, along with all 14 wrestlers in seven weight classes due to the Big Ten receiving eight or more NCAA Championships qualifier allocations in those classes. 

Brandon Cray and Philip Spadafora lead the way for Maryland as each are seeded 11th in the 125 and 165-pound weight classes, respectively.
