COLLEGE PARK, Md. --Â The No. 2 Maryland lacrosse team (10-2, 2-1) will play its second consecutive Big Ten road game when the Terps travel to play No. 9 Ohio State (8-2, 1-2) in Columbus on Saturday, April 20. The game will faceoff at 1:00 pm and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.Â
STORYLINES BY THE NUMBERS
3 – Sophomore Logan Wisnauskas delivered his third eight-point game of the season when Maryland beat Michigan on April 6, joining Bob Boneillo (1979) and Connor Kelly (2018) as the only Terps with three eight-point games in the same season.
4 – Maryland spread out the scoring in the team's come-from-behind win over Rutgers on April 14, with four different players recording a hat trick in the 16-13 victory. It was the first time since at least 1998 that four different Terps recorded a hat trick in the same game. Of the nine teams in Division I lacrosse to produce four hat trick scorers in the same game this season, Maryland reached the feat in the fewest goals scored overall (16). Â
5 – Maryland staged its largest comeback win of the season against the Scarlet Knights on April 14, erasing a five-goal deficit to eventual pull out a three-goal victory. It was Maryland's first win of the season while trailing at halftime.Â
6 – Junior Jared Bernhardt has emerged as one of the most dynamic scorers in the country this season, posting a hat trick in six consecutive games for the Terps. Bernhardt is one of two Terps to reach six consecutive games with a hat trick since 2000, joining Andrew Combs (2001 – 7 games) on the list.    Â
17 – Maryland has extended its NCAA-best streak of consecutive double-digit win seasons to 17 after defeating Rutgers 16-13 on April 14. Maryland is just one of two programs nationally that has a streak of 10 or more seasons with at least 10 wins (Duke – 14).  Â
22 – Senior face-off specialist Austin Henningsen has now racked up 22 faceoff wins in two different games this season against North Carolina (3/23) and Michigan (4/6). He was named the Big Ten Specialist of the Week after both performances, and is now the only player in school history to record two games of 22+ faceoff wins.
50 – With his eight-point performance against Michigan on April 6, Logan Wisnauskas has reached 50 points for the second consecutive season. The Sykesville, Md. native is in a league of his own in the Maryland record books, becoming the first player in program history to record at least 50 points in back-to-back seasons as a freshman and sophomore.
500 – Austin Henningsen became just the fourth player in school history to amass 500 faceoff wins after winning 14/22 against Rutgers. Henningsen currently ranks eighth in the nation in faceoff winning percentage (64.4%).
