COLLEGE PARK, Md.  – No. 12/11 Maryland (10-3, 1-1 B1G) will play host to Ohio State (8-5, 1-1) Monday night at the XFINITY Center. The Terps-Buckeyes will tip off at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

Maryland owns the series over Ohio State at 8-6, after winning both matchups last season. The Terps won 75-69 in College Park on Jan. 5 and 70-57 in Columbus on Jan. 24. Maryland is 5-2 vs. Ohio State at the XFINITY Center.
 
Last time out, the Terrapins fell at Northwestern, 81-58 on Tuesday. Stephanie Jones had 14 points, Blair Watson scored 13 and Kaila Charles added 10. The Terps shot just 30.5 percent from the field and  had 24 turnovers.
 
The Terrapins are in the top five in the nation in turnover margin (+9.2), steals (13.8) and scoring margin (+30.0). Blair Watson is No. 1 in the Big Ten with her 3-point percentage of .471 and Taylor Mikesell is fifth (.440).
 
Kaila Charles recently moved to No. 9 on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,695 career points. Blair Watson has made 171 career threes. She is sixth on Maryland's all-time list and needs to make two to pass Marissa Coleman (2006-09) and Tiffany Brown (1997-99) at No. 4.
 
After Monday's matchup, the Terps will hit the road for a two-game swing next week. They will play at Iowa (10-3, 1-1) Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. The matchup will be televised on the Big Ten Network. Then, Maryland will play at Michigan (10-3, 1-1) Sunday, Jan. 12 at noon. The Terps-Wolverines game will be televised on ESPN2.
