Maryland (21-4, 12-2 B1G) enters Sunday's contest with 10 straight wins. Last time out, Maryland dominated No. 17 Iowa, 93-59 Thursday night in College Park. The Terps led 25-14 at the end of the first quarter and kept pushing. They forced 27 Hawkeye turnovers. Maryland scored the most points Iowa has allowed all season and held the Hawkeyes to their fewest points scored all season.
Kaila Charles led the way with 21 points, nine boards.
Shakira Austin scored 20 points, 18 in the second half,
Ashley Owusu had 17 points and
Stephanie Jones scored 16.
Taylor Mikesell scored 12 with four first half threes.

Sunday's matchup is the 30th all-time between Maryland and Penn State (7-18, 1-13), with the Terps owning the series at 15-14. Maryland has won seven straight matchups since joining the league in 2015.

Charles currently has 1,907 career points and 895 career rebounds. Watson recently passed Shatori Walker-Kimbrough with 187 career threes made. Watson is No. 3 on Maryland's all-time list. Austin is at 485 career rebounds. Mikesell's career three-point field goal percentage of 41 percent is No. 2 in program history.

Charles was named to a Cheryl Miller Award Finalist on Feb. 12, to the Citizen Naismith Trophy Mideseason List Feb. 11, the Wooden Award Midseason List Feb. 3 and a Senior CLASS Award finalist on Feb. 5. Watson was named to the Naismith Womens Defensive Player of the Year midseason watch list on Jan. 23.
