COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland Gymnastics team will host four teams on Sunday, March 1, in the XFINITY Center at 1:00 p.m. Maryland will honor its four seniors, Alecia Farina, Emma Johnson, Kirsten Peterman and Tiara Wright at the conclusion of the meet.

Numbers to Know
- Maryland is currently 6-6 overall, 3-6 in the Big Ten and 3-0 in XFINITY Center.
- Last week the Terps earned a season high 49.300 on floor.
- Maryland is currently ranked No. 29 overall nationally.
- National event rankings: Vault (21), Bars (28), Beam (44) and Floor (31).
Raising The Bar
- In the last two meets, six gymnasts earned career highs in their respective events.
- Senior Tiara Wright earned 9.925s on both bars and floor.
- Junior Randi Morris notched a 9.825 on vault and a 9.850 on floor.
- Sophomore Leksana Andrews earned a 9.575 high in her first collegiate beam routine.
- Three freshmen have earned five career-highs in the last two meets.
The Competition
- The Temple Owls are currently ranked No. 47 in the nation. Temple's best events are floor and vault where they are nationally ranked No. 43 and No. 45, respectively. The Owls' all-around season-high is 195.075.
- The University of Pennsylvania Quakers are currently ranked No. 56 in the nation. Penn's best events are beam and floor where they are nationally ranked No. 49 and No. 51, respectively. The Quakers' all-around season-high is 194.850.
- The William & Mary Griffins are currently ranked No. 61 in the nation. William & Mary's best events are bars and vault where they are nationally ranked No. 46 and No. 55, respectively. The Griffins' all-around season-high is 194.550.
- The Yale Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 54 in the nation. Yale's best events are beam and floor where they are nationally ranked No. 43 and No. 47, respectively. The Bulldogs' all-around season-high is 194.175.
Promotions
- Senior Night: The team's seniors will be honored in a special post-meet ceremony featuring a senior video and the unveiling of banners.
- Brunch With Brett: Prior to the meet, light refreshments will be available in Heritage Hall and Coach Nelligan will make a short appearance to interact with fans. RSVP
- Paint the Arena Black: All fans are encouraged to wear black to the Terrapin Invitational meet.
- Dollar Day: In honor of our March 1 meet at 1 PM, concessions will sell popcorn and hotdogs for $1 each.
