COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Top-seeded Maryland will face ninth-seeded Purdue Friday at noon in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The Terrapins clinched their fifth Big Ten title in six years in the league Sunday. Maryland, which has won 14 straight games, is the No. 1 seed for this weekend's Big Ten Tournament. For more on the Big Ten Tournament, click

Maryland (25-4) dominated Purdue (18-13), 88-45, in College Park on Feb. 25.
Stephanie Jones led the Terrapins with 18 points and nine boards.
Kaila Charles added 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Shakira Austin scored 17 points with 13 boards.
A program-record six Terrapins racked up the Big Ten honors this week.
Ashley Owusu is the third Terp to be named Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Charles earned unanimous All-Big Ten First Team honors for the second straight year. Austin, Jones and
Ashley Owusu earned Second Team honors.
Blair Watson was named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team and earned honorable mention honors with
Taylor Mikesell.
Maryland, ranked No. 6 in the country, has won 14 straight games since Jan. 12. The Terrapins have 11 wins over RPI top 50 teams and six over teams ranked in the AP Top 25. In the win streak, the Terps are winning by an average margin of victory of +27.6.
Maryland dominated at Minnesota, 99-44, Sunday. Mikesell went 6-for-7 from outside the arc for 22 points. Owusu scored 17, Charles scored 15 and Jones and Austin each added 13.
Diamond Miller added 11 off the bench.
Maryland is 13-2 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament after winning the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Tournament titles. The Terps are 10-2 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and head coach
Brenda Frese is 13-3 in the Tournament.
The trio of Charles, Jones and Watson have earned a record of 111-20 (.847) in their four-year careers. They helped win the 2017 Big Ten regular season and tournament titles and the 2019, 2020 Big Ten regular season titles. They have made three straight NCAA Tournament appearances to date and advanced to the 2017 Sweet Sixteen. Vujacic, a junior college transfer, has been a part of 54 wins.
The Terrapins are in the top five in the country in steals (13.0), scoring margin (+26.9), scoring (83.7), assists (18.3) and turnover margin (+8.0).
Taylor Mikesell is leading the Big Ten in threes made (2.7) More stat rankings on page 7.
Charles currently has 1,963 career points and 917 career rebounds. She recently moved to No. 6 on Maryland's scoring list.
Blair Watson is No. 3 on Maryland's all-time three-pointers list with 190 made in her career. Mikesell's career three-point field goal percentage of 42.0 percent is No. 2 in program history.
