COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland women's lacrosse will sign a multiyear partnership with Gait Lacrosse as the team's official equipment provider, head coach
Cathy Reese announced on Tuesday.
The partnership, which will begin in the 2020-21 season, will include heads, handles, gloves and eyewear for the Terps.
"I could not be happier for Maryland Women's Lacrosse to work with Gait Lacrosse," said Reese. "They are innovators of the game and of the equipment we have used at Maryland to win championships. The Gait product line of sticks provides unique advantages for our players to perform at their best on the field. The Gait's have been part of our historic success at Maryland and I believe they will be part of our future success."
Maryland will move to Gait Lacrosse from Under Armour, who halted production of lacrosse equipment this summer. The Terps will become the third Division I school to use Gait, joining Louisville and Navy.
