- No. 3: Adela Josefova was defeated by Shimizu 1-6, 4-6
- No. 4: Minorka Miranda put up a fight against Galindo in both sets, but ultimtaely fell 4-6, 4-6
- No. 5: Kulkarni defeated Gaspain 7-5, 4-0 after a retired match
- No. 6: Sampson took the first set against Nax Ozturk, but fell in the tiebreaker 6-4, 3-6, 5-10
