Maryland played to a scoreless draw with one of the top teams in the country March 13, drawing Rutgers 0-0 in College Park. It was just the second game the 17^th-ranked Scarlet Knights have been held without a goal this season.   

Maryland honored its seven-member senior class on Sunday, March 21 in the team's final home game.

Prior to the match, Maryland recognized Hope Lewandoski, Alyssa Poarch, Malikae Dayes, Alexis Hogarth, Anissa Mose, Mikayla Dayes and Sydney Staier for their contributions to the program.

Ray Leone in his fifth season at the helm for Maryland, a season removed from leading Maryland to its best-ever finish in the B1G. UMD finished 9-8-3 in 2019 and earned a trip to the school's first-ever Big Ten Tournament. The Terps went 5-5-1 in league play to finish sixth in the conference, the highest for a Maryland team.

With injuries mounting among Maryland's veteran core, Krista Varrichione, Olivia Reese, Tori Paul, Brooke Weston and Taylor Whitmer all made their first career starts for the Terps at Wisconsin last weekend. In all, seven total freshmen has started at least one game for Maryland this season.
