UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – The Maryland track and field squad capped off the Penn State National Open with some impressive performances. After a successful opening night, the Terps looked to capitalize and finish strong, and did just that. The Terps saw several athletes earn personal records, as well as having six athletes earn podium finishes in individual events on the day. Complete results from day two can be found here.

Graduate Student Solomon Lawrence was victorious in the 600m. His time of 1:20.07 is the fourth fastest time in program history.

Maxwell Myers took home second place in the 600m, with a time of 1:20.32, the fifth fastest time in program history.

Senior Kaithon McDonald had a strong performance in the high jump, clearing 7-0 ¼ and earning a second place finish.

Jeff Kline (17.71m) took home second place in the shot put.

Freshman Eric Albright (2:29.27) raced to a top five finish in the 1000m.

The Terps finished the day competing in the men's 4x400. The squad of Caleb Dean, Maxwell Myers, Solomon Lawrence and Kobe Simpson raced to a time of 3:14.01 earning the fifth fastest 4x400 time in program history as well as capturing second place.
