Abby Meyers of the Maryland women's basketball program will represent the USA in the Maccabiah Games beginning Sunday, July 17 in Netanya, Israel.
Meyers and Team USA will open competition on Sunday with a game vs. Israel at 10 a.m. ET at Yesharun Hall. They will play double round robin including Australia through July 22. All games will be streamed

Jewish athletes come from all over the world to the state of Israel for the Maccabiah Games. Every four years for three weeks, Jews of all ages and backgrounds come to compete in 35 sports.
These Jewish travelers are athletes who gather for the World Maccabiah Games, an Olympic-style competition that is among the top international sporting events in the world.
Meyers, a 6-0 guard from Potomac, Md., played three seasons at Princeton, where she was named the Ivy League Player of the Year this past year and earned AP Honorable Mention honors. She averaged 18.2 points and 5.9 rebounds as she helped the Tigers to a record of 25-5, the Ivy League title and the NCAA Round of 32.
Meyers dropped a career-high 29 points in the Tigers' NCAA First Round win over Kentucky on March 19. In the Second Round, Meyers and the Tigers took Indiana to the wire. She added 11 points in the matchup.

Meyers finishes her career at Princeton with 936 career points. She averaged 11.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in her three years as a Tiger.
