Annapolis, Md. – The Maryland track and field squads competed at the Navy Springtime Invite in Annapolis, MD.

The Terps had a successful meet in Annapolis, claiming twelve individual victories and podium sweeps throughout the meet, both on the track and in the field. Full results from the meet can be found here.

Women's Notes: 

• Maryland's throws squad took the top four places in the shot put. Jayla Bynum took first throwing 14.83m. Kamryn Henderson (13.25) took second, Kayla Thorpe (13.06) took third, and Sarah George placed fourth.
• Kyra Lyles (25.33) Lydia Robling (25.47) and Ashley Thomas (25.57) swept the top three in the 200m. 
• Tolu Akinduro (11.51m) won the triple jump for her first collegiate victory. 
• Kami Joi Hickson (2:11.00) and Mackenzie Morgan (2:11.83) took first and second in the 800m. Sophia Zell also competed earning a personal best in the event. 
• Michaela Bracken (1:00.77) and Kattiana Ealy-Pulido (1:02.77) took first and second in the 400m hurdles. 
• Nyla Cherry (5.35m) won the long jump and Ashley Germain took third.
• Michaela Bracken cleared 1.70m (5'7") and won the high jump.
• Jessica Sutter (39.72m) won the javelin throw.
• Kamryn Henderson (54.51m) placed third in the hammer throw. Sarah George took fourth. .
• Katie Turk (4:34.04) placed second in the 1500m with a personal best. Amanda Eliker (4:37.68) Sophia Zell (4:41.97) Emmi Simon (4:47.29) and Katerina Talanova (4:47.47) all earned top ten results. 
• Kirstin Nichols (18:13.26) and Rubie Goffena (18:27.41) earned personal bests in the 5k. Hannah Mack, Claudia Dolan, and Katie Ericson also competed well. 
• Ashley Thomas (12.46) finished second in the 100m dash.
• Ariana Ealy-Pulito finished second in the 100m hurdles. 
• The women's 4x400 squad claimed victory with a squad of Kyra Lyles, Lydia Robling, Kami Hickson, and Michaela Bracken. 

  Men's Notes:

• Bryce Middleton cleared 1.93m in the high jump to win the event. The high jump took first place indoors due to rain.
• Chase McGeehan won the 400m, sprinting to a 48.51 finish. Solomon Lawrence (49.35) took third and Max Myers (49.67) was fourth.
• Kevin Collins (21.80) finished second in the 200m and Joe Ewan sprinted to a fourth place finish.
• Gerald Norgbe jumped 13.93m in the triple jump, taking third place.
• Luke Tobia (57.91m) took fourth place in the hammer throw with a personal best mark. 
• Drake Murphy (14.83) placed fourth in the 110m hurdles.
• Rhys Allen took fifth in the discus throwing 47.01m.
• Eric Albright (3:55.33) took sixth in the 1500m.
• Tommy Adebayo (11.04) opened his season in the 100m dash. Roshaun Rowe also competed.
• Cliff Carty and Peter Capozzoli opened their seasons in the 800m.
• Maryland's 4x400 squad of Max Myers, Eric Albright, Peter Capozzoli and Solomon Lawrence closed out the meet with a 3:23.68 victory.
